We call on the Federal Government of Nigeria and the National Assembly to establish the DEFENCE FAMILIES’ EMPOWERMENT AND DEVELOPMENT TRUST FUND (DEFEND Trust Fund) as a statutory institution.

This Fund will provide scholarships, entrepreneurship support, vocational training, cooperative loans, and psychosocial care for the families of those who serve and sacrifice, especially widows, orphans, and dependents of junior officers.
